Things You Should and Should Never do When You're New to A School

If you're joining in kindergarten things are so easy to get along with. You're your silly, small, innocent, forgetful, cute self.So nobody has a problem with it because everybody is more or less the same at that age.A little fight over some silly thing is forgotten before the day ends. That way it's so convenient to get along with the other kids. Its pretty fine till you've reached teenage. It's funny how things go so horribly weird around this time.I don't know about other teens but I get really conscious when among an unfamiliar crowd. So far, going to a new school has been most terrifying for me.I gathered the following over the past 3 months about things you can, can't,should and shouldn't and won't be able to do when you're new(if you are a girl):

1. You just won't be fully satisfied with how things run in this new place.I kept comparing my old school to this new one and realised i had been living in heaven that just looked like hell.

2.Don't smile too much.It can be potentially a dangerous thing to do. You don't wanna give them any ideas too soon.:D

3.Keep things friendly.Talk to everybody.Take a diplomatic stance in everything. You are not aware of the gang-grudges,sneaks and complaint-boxes yet.

4. Don't stare at anyone.Just don't.

5.Don't mess with your class-teacher even she's the worst woman you've ever coem across in your whole career. She'll make sure your gonna be just NOT fine.

6.Don't mess with the kids even if you have dared to do the above. They'll kill you before summer vacations!

7.Try being upto date in your work even if you're a regular slacker. At least for a week.Because first impression really do count(at least for aweek).Later you can be your sweet slacky self and get screwed how many ever times you like(it's kinda fun:P..being your teacher's pet peeve).

8.Share you stuff with the other kids.Say nice things and listen to all their crap. All the better if all these come naturally. It helps a lot in making new friends.Oh and if you're funny, then its a sure shot.Just don't try to be too funny, okay?

9.Even if you are the most irritating unmanageable creature for the teachers it's important to maintain a good rapport with the Principal.Always greet him/her with a nice pleasant, natural(that's really important)respectful smile. No hand in pockets.Courteous.And things like that work well.

10.Don't wear your wristwatch the first day. That gives you a chance to strike up a conversation with your neighbour, starting with 'Hey do you know what time it is?'.If the person you asked is a bore, then ask the next person the same till you find a fun person:D

The Dream Lender

Image courtesy : www.josephinewall.co.uk Dreams are a wonderful gift The light, cushioned sensation, as we sink into bed and gently begin to fall and then awaken to new world so real yet so magical, is indeed wonderful!  Sadly I don't have dreams so often, nightmares too evade me most times. And I begin to think it's something wrong with me- maybe I'm not creative in my active mind, maybe I'm much too a realist. Maybe I'm not in sync with my environment and am probably a mere juxtaposition in such a happening world and have numbed senses. Or maybe I'm a heavy sleeper.  Unfortunate really, when I hear of highly animated fantasy-like  dreams of others. My sister is most blessed with such midnight matinees. The weird, the wicked and the heroic seize her unconscious world and spin full length fairy tales , some of them really scary too, adorned with elaborate detail. Whether it is her charming narration or simply my longing for such dreams it's tremendously...

hUMBLE sTROKES

iT''s been some time since I picked up a brush. Not the most impressionist, but for the love of oil pastels, here is a ballroom couple!  Tried to stick to Red,Blue and White in this one. Intended to be Katrina Kaif but turned out a hybrid of Katrina and Penelope? or some man? Originally a pencil sketch that the scanner cast a spell on. So this is what you get.
